Nora is an associate at Rosen Law Office, joining the firm immediately after graduating from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of Northeastern University Law Journal.

Before graduating from Northeastern, Nora interned at a number of well-respected law firms and related organizations, including: Thornton & Naumes, LLP; Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen, P.C.; the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board; and Greater Boston Legal Services.

  • The investigation of a prohibited foreclosure rescue transaction, leading to the recovery of a substantial amount of the homeowner’s lost equity.
  • The filing of a copyright infringement suit involving the unauthorized mass licensing and reproduction of an artwork.
  • The defense of a homeowners insurance company, in a claim involving the applicability of spousal tort immunity to claims for negligent infliction of emotional distress.
  • The filing of a multi-district federal consumer class action suit, including claims under G. L. c. 93A and analogous consumer protection statutes from other jurisdictions.
  • Researched the implications of municipal zoning board decisions on local property tax exemptions, the effects of Tax Increment Financing agreements on the State non-income measure of corporate taxation, and the legal effect of unpaid demolition liens on local property tax abatement proceedings.
  • Assisted in many matters involving denials of coverage under G.L. c. 176D and G. L. c. 93A, from the perspectives of the insurer, the insured, and the third-party claimant.
